John Peel was the first DJ to pick up and play Voodoo Ray on national radio, technically making him the very first broadcasting British house DJ It has always been an honour for me to do a Peel Sesssion. Thanks to John Peel I had an unbelievably wide range of alternative music at an age when it was important for me to have my ears opened up to the possibilities of what music could be. Listening back through the sessions has given me focus, enabling me to consciously put my music into perspective. This helps me to find new direction in my ongoing quest to push forward my own boundaries. A Guy
